Bruce Springsteen to perform at Grammys; Artist Mike Kelley dies; Kanye West filming in the Middle East?

- It’s a Bruce Springsteen blitzkrieg. He’s dropping his new album “Wrecking Ball” on March 6. He’s performing at Verizon Center on March 28. And its just been announced that Springsteen and the E Street Band will perform on the Grammys on Feb. 12. Still not enough Boss for you? His March 9 concert at the Apollo Theater in Harlem will air live on SiriusXM.

- Artist and musician Mike Kelley died Wednesday, apparently by his own hand. Before he was an art world star, Kelley performed with Michigan noiseniks Destroy All Monsters. His art would later adorn the album cover of Sonic Youth’s 1992 album “Dirty.”

- Kanye West is reportedly getting ready to film another video-film-hybrid, this time in the Middle East. Does that mean there’s a new album he’ll be promoting?
