Chris Brown wins big at BET Awards; Muppets tribute album features Weezer, My Morning Jacket; “Thriller” jacket sells for $1.8 million

- Chris Brown was the big winner at last night’s BET Awards. Wiz Khalifa, Nicki Minaj and Kanye West were also among the winners at the performance-heavy show which, featured the same handful of superstars trading off verses on all of their collaboration-heavy tunes. There was way too much bare-chested Rick Ross.

- Yes, there is a Muppets tribute album. Yes, it’s called “The Green Album.” Of course Weezer is on it. Others featured on the upcoming disc are Andrew Bird, OK Go, My Morning Jacket and the Fray.

- One of the two jackets Michael Jackson wore in the “Thriller” video was sold at auction for $1.8 million.
