Click away on The Rap Board

(therapboard.com)
The week’s best new music site? Let us nominated The Rap Board, a single-page site (screen shot above) with a simple premise. See the face of a rapper, say 50 Cent. Click on his face and you hear “G-g-g-g-g-G-Unit!” Chuckle. And so it goes for 63 total of rap’s most famous catch phrases. The site says an iPhone app is coming soon, and if that means these sounds will be able to double as ringtones, the Rick Ross grunt will be even more inescapable than it already is.

A quick Rap Board top 5? 1) Pharrell’s “Yessir!”; 2) that Rick Ross grunt, 3) Flava Flav’s iconic “Yeaaaaaah Boyeeeeee!”; 4) Young Jeezy’s laugh, 5) DMX’s terrifying growl-bark

And a few more that need to be on there for version 2.0: 1) Kanye West’s “HAAA!”; 2) The woman who does that entrancing “Maybach Music” drop; 3) Any Ol’ Dirty Bastard random sounds; 4) More Young Jeezy: “That’s riiiiiiight!”
