Coda: Dancing fast with A-Trak; Dancing slow with Chancha Via Circuito; Preparing to live “The Sweetlife”

Who’s pumped to see the Strokes on Sunday? Raise your hand! (Courtesy of RCA Records)
Another week on Click Track is in the history books and boy are our money-makers tired. We shook them quickly on Tuesday night (A-Trak at U Street Music Hall) and slowly on Thursday night (Chancha Via Circuito at Restaurant Judy). And when they were at rest, we were asking young jazzman Vijay Iyer about pop music and mathematics. How should we spend our Saturday? Resting up for the Strokes at Sunday’s Sweetlife Festival at Merriweather Post Pavillion? Or celebrating 30 years of independent music at the legendary Wilson Center? The Fugazi video below might sway us toward the latter. See y’all on Monday.
