Did you read any stories about Carrie Brownstein and Fred Armisen of “Portlandia” recently? ( Scott Green/IFC.) Did you read about “Portlandia,” the IFC sketch comedy show starring Carrie Brownstein from Excuse 17 and Fred Armisen from Trenchmouth, in that recent issue of the New Yorker?

Did you read about it in the New York Times? In the Onion? On Salon? On the Daily Beast?

With the show’s second season kicking off on Friday night, we wanted to remind you that we wrote about Brownstein and “Portlandia” eleven months ago, back when the show was more eco-friendly and not so corporate.
