In today’s Post: Ollabelle, Pilc Moutin Hoenig, An Horse

In today’s Weekend section, Geoffrey Himes profiles Ollabelle, an Americana quintet that has taken its rootsy sound and shifted from gospel to blues on its new album, “Neon Blue Bird.” The band performs at the Barns at Wolf Trap on Thursday and at Rams Head Tavern next Friday.

Also reviewed in today’s paper are new albums by French pianist Jean-Michel Pilc’s Pilc Moutin Hoenig trio; Australian-bred rock duo An Horse; prog-rock veterans Dream Theater; emo-pop-punkers Mayday Parade; and sprightly indie rockers Givers.
