Jay-Z and Kanye West announce “Watch the Throne” released date and tour; Amy Winehouse remembered

- It’s official. Jay-Z and Kanye West’s collaboration album “Watch the Throne” is set to land exclusively on iTunes on Aug. 8. Then they’ll hit the road. The “Watch the Throne” tour is scheduled to visit Washington’s Verizon Center on Sept. 29 and Baltimore’s 1st Mariner Arena on Nov. 1. Tickets go on sale Aug. 8 at 10 a.m.

- This morning, the world is remembering Amy Winehouse, who was found dead Saturday in her London home. Here’s the Post’s obituary. And here’s an essay I wrote for today’s paper on the 27 club’s information-age outsider.
