Justin Bieber and Eminem win big at Billboard music awards; Beach Boys and Rolling Stones planning 50th anniversary gigs?

- Justin Bieber and Eminem were the big winners at last night’s Billboard Music Awards in Las Vegas. They each won six awards. Bieber was named Top New Artist. New? Still? Eminem won Top Artist. Rihanna, Taylor Swift, Usher and Lady Gaga all won three “awards” that they will surely forever cherish.

- Iconic acts the Beach Boys and Rolling Stones are each approaching their 50th anniversaries and might have some special shows in store. Brian Wilson has hinted at reuniting with his estranged bandmates; last year Al Jardine hinted at a possible reunion show on the National Mall. Meanwhile, Keith Richards says that, “The idea's there. We kind of know we should do it, but nobody's put their finger on the moment yet,” regarding the 50th anniversary of the Stones.

- And here is Weezer’s Rivers Cuomo wearing a D.C. United jersey at Saturday’s DC 101 Chili Cook-Off at RFK Stadium.
