- Nirvana bassist Krist Novoselic is scheduled to perform a 20th anniversary concert celebrating "Nevermind" in Seattle. Novoselic, along with Fastbacks, Visqueen, ex-Screaming Trees band Valis and other bands, will perform the landmark album in its entirety. Just don't expect Dave Grohl to show up for "Drain You." His Foo Fighters are booked elsewhere that night.

- Pop music teaches us patience. That Yelawolf album we've been so excited about? It's been bumped from Sept. 27 to Oct. 25. Ohmmm.

-Remember when we profiled country-rock-metal-maverick Shooter Jennings last year? He's back with "Outlaw You," a blistering critique of the neo-outlaw army currently marching out of Nashville. Shots fired! Take a listen below.
