Lana Del Rey makes everyone angry; Lookout! Records shuts down; RIP funk musician Jimmy Castor

- Polarizing up-and-coming singer Lana Del Rey may not be so polarizing after her performances on “Saturday Night Live” this weekend. Now she’s just despised. Even NBC’s Brian Williams couldn’t help but pile on. Make up your own mind after watching “Video Games” (above) and “Blue Jeans.”

- Bay Area punk label Lookout! Records has officially shut down. The original home of Green Day is also responsible for everyone’s official Favorite Album From High School — Operation Ivy’s “Energy.” The label has been in financial trouble for years.

- Funk star Jimmy Castor passed away at the age of 64. His best known song was the 1972 Jimmy Castor Bunch hit “Troglodyte.”
