Lil B in shock value statement shocker; Courtney Love in concert meltdown shocker; Dr. Dre in “Detox” delay shocker

Lil B is at it again. (Kyle Gustafson/FTWP)
In today’s roundup of not-in-the-least-bit-surprising news...

- Internet meme creator/rapper Lil B is at it again. His new song is called “I Got AIDS.” Lil B does not have AIDS, but says the song was made in order to raise awareness. Earlier this year he released an album titled “I’m Gay (I’m Happy).”

- Courtney Love had a very Courtney Love outing in Brazil over the weekend during a Hole performance at the SWU Festival in Sao Paulo. She briefly went topless, berated fans (in this case for holding up a poster of Kurt Cobain), stormed off stage early and, in a new wrinkle, only came back once audience members shouted “Foo Fighters are gay!” The whole thing has us nostalgic for last summer.

- After more than a decade of not giving fans his new album, “Detox,” Dr. Dre is taking a break from not making any new music to instead focus on his headphones. Can’t Lil B just release an album called “Detox (I’m Dre)” and put an end to this?
