Madonna to play Verizon Center Sept. 23; Kid Rock’s Made in Detroit clothing line not really made in Detroit; Daft Punk collaborating with Nile Rodgers?

Madonna is coming.(Jeff Haynes/Reuters)
- Hot on the stiletto heels of Sunday’s acclaimed Super Bowl halftime gig, Madonna announced a massive world tour that will visit Washington’s Verizon Center on Sept. 23. Tickets go on sale Feb. 13 at 10 a.m. The cheap seats will cost you $48 — the priciest are going for $358.

- Kid Rock’s Made in Detroit clothing line? Not made in Detroit. The Detroit Free Press reports that many of the clothing line’s t-shirts are manufactured in India, Honduras and the Dominican Republic.

- The best news you might read all day: Somewhat reclusive French robots Daft Punk are reportedly recording music with the legendary Nile Rodgers.

- And in today’s Post, album reviews of Mark Lanegan Band, Schoolboy Q and some guy named Paul McCartney.
