Madonna’s new album due in spring; Pearl Jam celebrates 20 years; My Chemical Romance fires drummer for stealing

- Madonna says she will release her 12th album in the spring. Indications are that she will be working with producer William Orbit, who was a collaborator on 1998’s “Ray of Light.”

- Pearl Jam celebrated 20 years of grunge greatness with a two-day bash in Wisconsin over the weekend. Other bands performing included Queens of the Stone Age, the Strokes and Mudhoney. There were plenty of guest spots and even a mini-Temple of the Dog set.

- My Chemical Romance fired drummer Michael Pedicone for stealing from the band.
