- Amy Winehouse’s friends and family held a private funeral for the late pop star Tuesday in London. Kelly Osbourne and producer Mark Ronson were among the famous friends in attendance.

- Ted Leo is a great rock-and-roller and a great man. There can be no debate about this. His fall tour will bring him to D.C. — no surprise there. But this show will be special, a benefit for National Day Laborer Organizing Network and We Are Family DC, sponsored by Positive Force DC. The show will be at Sacred Heart Church on Nov. 12 — here’s all the info you need.

- Young Jeezy’s Monday night concert in New York celebrating the sixth anniversary (we celebrate that now?) of “Thug Motivation 101” featured guest spots from Jay-Z, Kanye West, Bun B and more. We have a feeling the A-list starts won’t be present when Jeezy plays Fur on Aug. 5. Not that he needs the help.
