R.E.M.’s big break-up earlier this week overshadowed the news that Baltimore art-rock band Ponytail also went splitsville.

- Is house music legend Theo Parrish now an honorary member of the Wu-Tang Clan? Parrish joined Ghostface Killah onstage at a gig in London on Wednesday night and filled in for the late Ol’ Dirty Bastard on “Protect Ya Neck.” Awesome.
