No album, just cover are and pre-order info for Jay-Z and Kanye; Radiohead enters Chinese cyberspace; RIP rock critic Jane Scott

- There was no July 4th album from Jay-Z and Kanye West but you can see the cover art and pre-order “Watch the Throne.” There will be four different versions of the album, so collect them all or something? There’s still no official release date or track listing.

- Radiohead created a Weibo account, taking a tentative first step into Chinese cyberspace. Weibo is the Chinese equivalent of Twitter, and is highly monitored by the Chinese government.

- Cleveland Plain Dealer rock critic Jane Scott passed away on July 4th at the age of 92. She had been covering rock music for nearly 50 years for the paper and was an unmistakable figure at Cleveland-area concerts.
