O.A.R. comes home for two small shows; Radiohead and Metallica release new music; Gucci Mane free

- Homegrown stars O.A.R. will return home for two rare club shows at 9:30 Club on Feb. 28 and 29. Tickets go on sale Friday. Last time O.A.R. was in town, Merriweather Post Pavilion was the venue and Chris Richards profiled the band The Post.

- A couple of the world’s biggest bands have surprising new releases coming. Radiohead has a single with two new tracks (“The Daily Mail” and “Staircase”) ready for a Dec. 19 release. Metallica has a four-song EP, “Beyond Magnetic,” available through iTunes this week.

- Gucci Mane was released from prison on Sunday and the Georgia rapper says that he’s done going to jail.
