Every Monday, Click Track asks an interesting Washingtonian about what they’re listening to.

This week we spoke with Lauren Shweder Biel, executive director of “seed-to-table” education organization DC Greens. As a mother of two young kids, Biel has “never been a fan of “kiddie music” and favors songs “that will have cross-over appeal to the preschool crowd,” which includes music that is “one part folk/bluegrass, one part funk/soul, and one part bossa nova/samba.”

Her playlist follows.

Old Crow Medicine Show, “Wagon Wheel

The Ideals, “Go-Go Gorilla

Caetano Veloso, “O Leãozinho

Elizabeth Mitchell, “Little Bird, Little Bird

The Wiz [Original Cast Recording], “I Was Born on the Day Before Yesterday”

Gillian Welch, “Winter’s Come and Gone

Johnny Cash and Bob Dylan, “You Are My Sunshine

Rebirth Brass Band, “(I Feel Like) Busting Loose”

Adoniran Barbosa, “Trem das Onze

Amadou and Mariam, “M’bifé
