This week we spoke with Matt Ashburn, co-owner of “DC’s Capital City Diner. Ashburn wears a lot of hats as “an analyst for the government, a diner owner, and a reserve (volunteer) police officer,” and his music is just as varied. “I really enjoy older blues, soul, Motown, Johnny Cash (especially his older gospel), as well as some indie rock.”
