R. Kelly memoir on the way (most likely); Wale officially sells 164,000 in first week; Eddie Vedder to guest on “Portlandia”

R. Kelly’s autobiography will be out ... at some point. (Photo by Kyle Gustafson/For The Washington Post)
- R. Kelly has written an autobiography and it is called “Soulacoaster,” because of course it is. Its release date isn’t exactly known — yesterday it shifted from next week to early 2012 — but hopefully it will be sooner rather than later. Even though “Soulacoaster” is a pretty righteous title, people had other ideas as well.

- D.C. rapper Wale officially checked in at No. 2 on the Billboard charts with an impressive first-week sales number of 164,000 units for his second album, “Ambition.” Florence & the Machine bowed at No. 6 with 105,000 while Lou Reed and Metallica could manage just the No. 36 spot for “Lulu,” selling 13,000 copies.

- Michael Jackson’s death bed — and hundreds of other items from his mansion — are set to hit the auction block.

- Eddie Vedder will guest star on the upcoming season of “Portlandia.”
