Singles file: Yelawolf f. Kid Rock, Alabama Shakes, El-P

Yelawolf teams with Kid Rock on his new single. (Kyle Gustafson/TWP)
A weekly playlist for the listener with a one-track mind...

Yelawolf featuring Kid Rock: “Let’s Roll”

The separated-at-birth rappers team for this Eminem-produced slow-burner from Yelawolf’s upcoming, feature-heavy debut, “Radioactive.”

Alabama Shakes: “I Found You”

Sweaty roadhouse retro soul at its finest, from the Athens, Ala.-based up-and-comers.

EL-P: “Rush Over BKLYN”

Rush is one of those classic rock acts, like the Talking Heads or Nine Inch Nails, that just doesn’t get sampled enough, although this new track, which folds “Tom Sawyer” into the Brooklyn rapper’s “Drones Over BKLYN,” is a good start.

Daniel Bensi and Saunder Jurriaans: “Collage”

Bensi and Jurriaans, mainstays of the psych-metal band Priestbird, moonlight as film composers, most recently for the dissonant and spooky “Martha Marcy May Marlene” soundtrack, from which this striking, string-heavy track hails.

Lana Del Rey: “Blue Jeans (Odd Future’s the Internet remix)”

This season’s blogosphere MVP and also last season’s meet cute on this pretty darn good, if not exactly effortful, remix of LDR’s now-iconic track
