Steven Tyler does bad things to national anthem; 2 Live Crew reunites; Ice-T, LCD, Neil Young among Sundance music highlights

- Ravens fans wanted to hide under the couch after Billy Cundiff missed his potential game-tying field goal. 49ers fans wanted to do the same after Kyle Williams’ second fumble led to their teams defeat. But one moment when all football fans — and anyone with functioning ears — wanted to turn the TV off in disgust was when Aerosmith’s Steven Tyler sang the national anthem prior to the Ravens-Patriots game. We should have seen it coming — in 2010 our own Allison Stewart rounded up five of the worst national anthems of the past decade, and Tyler was on the list. Kelly Clarkson will do the honors at the Super Bowl in a couple of weeks.

- 2 Live Crew will reunite and hit the road this summer. FreeFest, anyone?

- The annual Sundance Film Festival kicked off Thursday and among the early music-related highlights: Ice-T’s, “The Art of Rap,” LCD Soundsystem’s “Shut Up and Play the Hits” and Neil Young Journeys.” Plus Drake played and showed up really late.
