- Rapper T.I. was released from prison this morning after serving 10 months of an 11-month sentence. He will serve the rest of his sentence at either a community living facility or home confinement.
- R&B dynamo The-Dream released a free album on his Web site overnight. It’s called “1977” and should tide fans over until the release (whenever that will be) of “The Love, IV: Diary of a Madman.”
- Perhaps the most famous never-officially-released album ever is finally getting an official release. The Beach Boys’ not-so-lost classic “Smile” will come out on Nov. 1 in a variety of deluxe versions.
