Week ahead: Destroyer goes “Kaputt” at Black Cat; Craig Campbell makes a fine debut; Will Carrie Underwood bring her whip to the “Tonight Show?”

The music-making Dan Bejar will be in Washington on Tuesday. (Merge Records)

If you go to one concert this week, make it: Dan Bejar of Destroyer when he comes to the Black Cat on Tuesday in support of his new album “Kaputt.” And if you missed this wonderful New Yorker nugget about dueling Dan Bejars, check it out.

If you listen to one new recording this week, make it: The debut album from country singer Craig Campbell. Read Bill Friskics-Warren’s review on Click Track tomorrow.

And if you stay up late to watch one artist on television, make it: Carrie Underwood when she visits Jay Leno on Wednesday. Will she bring that crazy whip-mike she used at Sunday’s ACM Awards?  And maybe cover Devo?
