Week ahead: Make it a super Tuesday with Lloyd, Liturgy, Dope Body and Yelawolf

If you listen to one new album this week, make it: “King of Hearts” from R&B man Lloyd. Allison Stewart reviewed it in today’s paper.

If you go to one concert this week, make it: Spiritual shredders Liturgy at DC9 tonight. And get there early for openers Dope Body from Baltimore. We saw them almost exactly two months ago. It reminded us of Rage Against the Machine in both a funny and righteous way. Video above.

And if you stay up late to watch one artist on television this week, make it: Alabama rapstar Yelawolf when he visits Carson Daly. He’s on tonight, meaning you can cram an entire week of musical experiences into the next 12 hours.
