Week ahead: Wiz Khalifa and friends; Kendrick Lamar’s “Section.80” still rules; Wye Oak visits Fallon

Wiz fans, mind the time on Sunday. (Bill O'Leary/TWP)
If you go to one concert this week, make it: Wiz Khalifa ’s big headlining gig at Merriweather Post Pavilion on Sunday. We know punctuality isn’t a forte for most Wiz fans — cough — but openers Curren$y and Big K.R.I.T. are certainly worth your time and focus.

If you listen to one new release this week, make it:Section.80,” the latest album from Compton rapper Kendrick Lamar. We love it so much, we’re pretending it hasn’t already been out for two weeks.

And if you stay up late to watch one band on TV this week, make it: Baltimore’s great Wye Oak . The duo makes its late night television debut on... [insert Questlove drum fill] “Late Night with Jimmy Fallon” later tonight.
