Forget 26.2 or 13.1. Try .10 or .05 if you want to participate in a race without months (or even minutes) of training.

BEST COMICS OF 2011: Last call for webcomic, strip and book nominations

“Hark! A Vagrant.” “Pearls Before Swine.” “Habibi.”

. (Kate Beaton - Fantagraphics)
Over recent weeks, nearly a thousand nominations have come in — via email, comments and Post apps — as readers share their picks (including the three named above) for best comics of 2011.

Now, we issue a last call: What is your favorite webcomic, comic strip or graphic narrative/comic book of the past year? The deadline for nominations is Sunday, Jan.1, at 11:59 p.m.

In January, Comic Riffs will conduct reader polls in three categories based on your picks.

Till then, many thanks for your nominations — and Happy New Year.
