Best of the Sunday Funnies: We Pick 'Em

A deftly drawn monster in "Prince Valiant." A big warm-and-fuzzy in "Mutts." And fun at Manny Ramirez's (female-fertililty) expense in "Tank McNamara." All in all, a pretty fair week for the Sunday Funnies. That said, Comic Riffs' Top Three Spots this week have to go to:

3. PICKLES -- You can almost see the punchline's direction, and yet it still builds -- and delivers -- rather perfectly. The humor is utterly, well, Earl.

2. GET FUZZY -- First three panels alone make the strip worth the price of admission.

And my top 'toon for the day:

1. PEARLS BEFORE SWINE -- Stephan Pastis is a sick, sick man. And so many readers love 'im for it. What a farce, indeed.

What's your choice for Sunday Funny of the week? 'Riffs invites your picks.
