As the syndicates continues to unveil new animation shorts of their strips, I find myself fascinated with seeing what elements from static comics make a successsful transition -- and what is lost is translation.
In the latest "Pooch Cafe" animation, for instance, Chazz sounds almost exactly how I imagine he would. You can check it out here:
Riffs also has been enjoying the new animated short for "Cul de Sac," which creator Richard Thompson blogs about here (particularly artful is how the papers flutter and float downward).
