'CUL DE SAC's Richard Thompson spills some trade secrets

"Cul de Sac's" Richard Thompson (Courtesy of Richard Thompson)

Gotta share my fave link from over the weekend...

Some of my favorite art from "CUL DE SAC" cartoonist and longtime Post contributor Richard Thompson comes when he works in his loose, elegant hand with watercolor. The motion flows, the colors dance -- and the liquid tones do nothing to overshadow Thompson's fine black line.

So it's a welcome window when Thompson decides to spill some of his cadmium and cobalt secrets. The cartoonist recently talked technique on his blog. If you're a fan of insightful shop talk (as I am), there's a good chance you'll appreciate this RICHARD THOMPSON blogpost. Enjoy.
