'NEXT GREAT CARTOONIST': The scholarly story behind today's 'IMOGEN QUEST'

Here's today's "Imogen Quest" comic from Olivia Walch, the 21-year-old winner of The Post's "America's Next Great Cartoonist Contest." So was the current college senior drawing from the recesses of her distant past for this cartoon?

"When applications to colleges and scholarships ask me to describe a difficulty in my life and how I overcame it," Walch confides to Comic Riffs, "I usually come up with 'that time I left my homework on the kitchen table' and 'by calling my mom and having her fax it to me.' "

If you have feedback about "Imogen Quest's" monthlong run in Style and on Comic Riffs, feel free to share your impressions.
