‘OBAMACARE UPHELD’: 6 Eye-Catching Cartoons react to the high court’s decision

MIKE THOMPSON WENT into work Thursday anticipating that Obamacare would crash and burn before the big guns of the high court. Or, as the Detroit Free Press political cartoonist writes, “How the most partisan U.S. Supreme Court in recent memory handed a major election year defeat to President Barack Obama.

“Needless to say I’m stunned.”

As yesterday’s decision ka-boomed like a depth charge across the country, some of the supreme cartoonists in the land went into deadline mode, responding to the news with their own rapid-responder mandate:
