QUICK SKETCH: The Neil Gaiman cartoon

A coupla hours ago, Comic Riffs just wrapped our sit-down interview with Neil Gaiman, the rock-star writer who’s in town to promote the 10th-anniversary release of his nearly-every-award-winning book, “American Gods.”

Watch this space tomorrow for some details from the interview, but meantime, here’s a sketch of the bearded Gaiman that Comic Riffs quickly rendered afterward in a nearby downtown coffee shop, while the Metro commute thinned — and while his whiskered visage was still fresh in the mind’s-eye.
