VIDEO OF THE DAY: New ‘Captain America’ trailer brings the cinematic muscle

When launching a superhero’s cinematic franchise-to-be, nothing sells in a trailer quite like The Physical Transformation. Sticking to this game plan of ungainly-to-muscle-engorged, the new “Captain America” trailer not only flaunts a simple, coherent appeal. It also hammers home its point better than any “Thor” trailer has yet managed to do.

In this Summer of Marvel, Chris Evans’s superhero — with plenty of gravitas-lending help from Tommy Lee Jones and Stanley Tucci — just took a big leap forward.
