A stabbing investigation in Severn led officers to drugs with an estimated value of more than $12,000, leading to assault and drug charges against a Maryland woman, according to police.
Anne Arundel County police say they visited the 1700 block of Richfield Drive in Severn about 3:40 p.m. Tuesday to investigate a report of a stabbing. The 20-year-old male victim directed them to the home of the suspect, who lived nearby.
While arresting Stacie Nashae Beauford, 22, of Severn, on assault charges, police say, they found suspected cocaine, heroin and marijuana. She was charged with assault and drug offenses.
The victim was treated for non-life-threatening injuries, police said.
