Apartment fire in Northwest injures one

One person was injured during an apartment fire Friday morning at the Hampton Court apartments, on the 2000 block of New Hampshire Ave. NW, officials said.

The fire, which broke out about 3 a.m., is under investigation. It is too early to make an assessment about the cause of the fire, according to a D.C. Fire Department spokesperson.
