Arrest made in Northeast D.C. killing

A man has been arrested in the slaying of a 33-year-old resident of Northeast D.C., police said.

Ricardo Mitchell, 32, of Temple Hills, was taken into custody Wednesday on an arrest warrant for first degree murder while armed, D.C. police said. Mitchell is a suspect in the slaying of Wyatt Earp Robinson, who was fatally shot in the 3800 block of Minnesota Avenue in Northeast D.C. on Sunday evening, police said.
