A 43-year-old Baltimore man has been charged with arson and related charges after allegedly burning his Pasadena home in April, Anne Arundel County police said Thursday.
William A. Macher, 43, of the 1000 block of Gladway Road, turned himself inWednesday, police said. He is being held on $500,000 bond.

Firefighters were called to the 1900 block of North Avenue in the Community of Venice on the Bay around 2 a.m. on April 6. They found a single-story home on fire, according to authorities.
Investigators eventually charged Macher, who owned the home, with first- and second-degree arson and other offenses.
If found guilty, police said, Macher could face up to 150 years in prison and $1 million in fines.
