Baltimore County police shoot, kill armed man

REISTERSTOWN, Md. — Baltimore County police say an officer has shot and killed an armed man who attacked police as they served a warrant.

It happened late Thursday night in Reisterstown.

Police say they were serving a warrant in the 400 block of Highmeadow Road when a man attacked them with a weapon. The man, whose name was not immediately released, was shot and killed and his body will be taken to the chief medical examiner’s office.

Homicide detectives are investigating.
