Body found in Beltsville park

A woman’s body was found in a park in the Beltsville area Wednesday, and police exploring the case as a homicide.

Someone spotted the body about 8:40 a.m. in the Beltsville neighborhood park in the 11500 block of Montgomery Road, police said. They declined to say what injuries the woman had suffered and said investigators were still working to identify her.
