Body found in Fairfax County park

Fairfax County police are investigating the death of a person whose body found Thursday evening in an Annandale park, officials said.

A man found the body while walking through the woods near the Hidden Oaks Nature Center about 6:30 p.m., police officials said. Investigators did not immediately determine the gender, age or identity of the body.

Authorities released no further details.
