Boy shot in Maryland suburb

A 15-year-old boy was found shot and wounded Tuesday evening in Howard County, the county police said.

They said the youth was found about 7:05 p.m. outside a house in the 11400 block of Frederick Road in the Ellicott City area. He was taken to a hospital in Baltimore.

No further information was immediately available.

The site is about 10 miles west of Baltimore and about 30 miles northeast of the District..
