A man arrested after a foot chase outside a Woodbridge auto shop has been charged with burglary at that business and two others, police said Tuesday.

According to the Prince William County police, officers responded to the Lake Ridge Auto Care shop at 11234 Touchstone Circle about 1:37 a.m. on Nov. 2. A man exiting the business soon fled, and he was caught after a short chase.

The man, identified as Adrian P. Bennett, 20, of Woodbridge, had taken keys to two vehicles parked behind the shop, police said.

He was charged with burglary and other offenses in connection with the incident, as well as two other counts of burglary and related offenses at the Minnieland Daycare in Woodbridge on Oct. 24 and Nov. 2.

In the Oct. 24, incident, police said a van stolen from the day care was found burning in the 2400 block of E. Longview Drive.
