Bus driver crash hearing continued

A judge in Virginia has continued a bond hearing for the man who was at the wheel of a discount interstate bus when it crashed on Interstate 95, killing four passengers and injuring dozens more.

The bond hearing Wednesday for bus driver Kin Yiu Cheung centered on whether he is a flight risk, as a prosecutor contends. The hearing was rescheduled for June 15 so the defendant's attorney could present a passport.

Cheung is charged with four felony counts of involuntary manslaughter in the May 31 crash about 30 miles north of Richmond.

Police say Cheung was fatigued when the Sky Express bus bound for New York City swerved off the highway, hit an embankment and overturned with 58 people aboard.

He is being held without bond.
