TheWashingtonPostUPDATED at 3:18 p.m. The Canadian embassy was evacuated this afternoon after an unattended package was found outside the building, the U.S. Secret Service said. The package was determined not to be dangerous.
Pennsylvania and Constitution Avenues were briefly closed between 5th and 6th Sts. NW.
