Capitol Heights man slain in District
A 28-year-old Capitol Heights man was fatally shot early Monday on a Northeast Washington street, D.C. police said.
The victim, Keith L. Turner, was found in the 1400 block of Morse Street NW shortly before 4 a.m. by officers responding to a report of a wounded man on the street, police said.
Turner was pronounced dead at a hospital about a half hour later.
The shooting is being investigated by homicide detectives.
