Child abuse suspect awaits extradition to Loudoun

A man wanted on child abuse charges in Loudoun County was taken into custody Monday by federal marshals and deputies from the Frederick County Sheriff’s Office in Maryland, officials reported.

John Thomas Gallihugh, 30, allegedly abused a 3-year-old boy in October, investigators said.

Gallihugh, a Loudoun County resident with no fixed address, is currently being held at the Frederick County Adult Detention Center and awaits extradition to Loudoun County.
