Community meeting to discuss unsolved murder of slain teen Marckel Ross

Police in Prince George’s County will hold a community meeting Wednesday to discuss the unsolved slaying of Marckel Ross, the teenager who was fatally shot while walking to school earlier this month.

The meeting is open to the public and will be held at 7 p.m. at Central High School, 200 Cabin Branch Road in Capitol Heights.

Police will address questions about the slaying and ask for assistance from the public.

Ross, 18, was gunned down on Sept. 11 as he walked to class at Central High School. He was in 11th grade and a track athlete at the school.

Police have said they have leads but no suspects in the case.
