D.C. police investigate fatal shooting in Northeast

D.C. police are investigating a fatal shooting Thursday night inside a duplex in North Michigan Park in Northeast Washington, officials said.

Officers were called to the 4400 block of 6th Place about 9 p.m., where they found a male who had been shot more than once, police said. He was transported to a hospital where he was pronounced dead, officials said.

A witness told police that four masked men burst through the door of the home. Once inside, three of the men fatally shot the fourth man, the witness told police.

The victim’s name hadn’t been released as of late Thursday. Police say he appeared to be in his late teens.
