D.C. police officer charged with sexually abusing three women

WASHINGTON — A District of Columbia police officer has been indicted on sexual abuse charges.

The nine-count grand jury indictment charges Larry W. Seay with second-degree sexual abuse while armed, possession of a firearm during a crime of violence and fourth-degree sexual abuse.

Seay is accused of using a gun while forcing sex acts upon three women in 2006 and last year.

It was not immediately clear if he had a lawyer or how long he has been with the department.

Seay is assigned to the police department’s Third District.

The Third District commander did not immediately return a phone call seeking comment Thursday, and a police department spokeswoman also did not return a message.
